anti novel or bizarro literature...

I am either going to research Bizarro literature or the anti novel because the break conventions of reality and standard literature form. I am unsure if I am going to pick a writer from one of these movements or discuss the general nature of the movement as of yet. I would like to read some of the material from authors in the either genre before making a final decision. I will need to read some of the text by various authors in order to complete the assignment and begin to write my paper...I already have a general interest in the genre of text; however, never dug deep into the readings. I will need to understand the reading maybe even dabble in some short story writing myself to get a feel for the style. I'll need lots of rest and time to prepare for the paper and the reading...I can always find time, but will that time produce a quality paper, yes, could I do better, always. I will need help locating anti novel writers and works, someone could go as far as typing my essay as I ramble into their ears, but highly unlikely to occur. I will only be needing any suggestions of text which will provide insight of the genre: either scholarly or story-plot based.

I will begin most likely this weekend by either burrowing a few examples of both text from the library or purchasing books online or via bookstore. After reading some of the material I will find out which genre I would prefer to occupy my time with, then go from there digging into either essays or article about the text and more literature by authors of those genres. a week before the written portion of the assignment is due I will begin to formulate a paper from my research and notes. save.edit.save.print.turn in.receive a graded paper back.have some sort of emotional feeling about the grade. be okay with it. recycle.

  1. I'd like to see you focus on one author from either approach, or two at most, precisely so that you stay focused and so that, also, you have to analyze one piece of writing in some detail. The close analysis is what will help you learn about strategies and approaches you might use in your own compositions.

    But -- enjoy!
