The conversation piece we'll be working on will consist of pros of marijuana use and production in the United States. We will discuss reasons to support the marijuana laws with an economical, medical or recreational point of view. The conversation will be enlightening and provide a lot of information about the topic. Our conversation will blend, or overlap, ideas to show the connection between the POV's.
I do not wish to change your opinion on the topic or to advocate the use of marijuana...it's all personal choice. Drugs are not meant for everyone, nor should be used by everyone.
be wise-don't do meth kids.
The positions in our conversations are not designated to the individual speaker, but to the topics the speakers are talking about (marijuana and hemp) although each speaker talk about both topics the general direction of the conversation is to convince the reader that either marijuana should be legalized; hemp should be legalized; or both. Marijuana and hemp are completely different products with one major difference: the quantity of THC. There is not enough of the active chemical drug THC in hemp to allow a person to get high....compare it to non alcoholic beer; there are still small amounts of alcohol in non alcoholic beers (up to .5% by volume) so you'd have to drink an inconsiderable large amount of alcohol to become intoxicated. Similar to gettting high off hemp, you'd have to smoke an ungodly amount to become intoxicated. In addition hemp is usually not sold in the form marijuana is sold. Marijuana or what marijuana users smoke to get high are the flower buds of the plant, where hemp includes the use stalk and leaves of the plant.
So yeah both speakers are going to be preaching for legalization of all species of cannabis (Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica, and Cannabis ruderalis) because it is ridiculous the all forms of the plant are illegal and the Gov't waste billions of dollars to destroy a 'drug' when they are actually destroying only a harmless plant.
