This is Green: FIXED!!!
GREEN: this one works, but the spiral part is not working...I'll try to revise again.
I was surprised that most everyone commented or suggested that I should combined the two animations; I never intended to do so...I actually just made "this is green" for fun. Although both animations represent the same idea (the meaning of the color green) use the same words I guess I felt as if enough was going on in each animation and the thought of combining them gives me the feeling of overloading the viewer. However, I have some free time I may try to combined the two animations to see the visual effect.
If I had more time I would have liked to get the timing and color combination down in "this is green" so the animation would have the illusion of turning the color green. I was able to accomplish the color illusion with 3 frames but the additional frames prevented a problem. If I had more time I would have also liked to age a colored background to "green" that combined the colors blue and yellow....which is what prompt me to create a second animation in order to dabble with the idea.
I need to learn to take time in developing my ideas, maybe even download or order the program for my personal computer. I find it hard to only work on these assignments during class hours + on campus. However, money is tight so practically SOL for now. I suppose what I would need to learn to advance my animated writing skills would be any information available and then take what I can remember to apply it to a project. Also how to use video backgrounds, how to had images or cliparts, or even how to watermark or how to use text/image transparency in the flash program. my artistic drawing/painting skills match that of a fifth grader on crack near a wall with a crayon and balloons filled with paint. I prefer to use words that tell a story and could apply to a visual reproduction...I have some ideas that I plan on using for this class or projects I would like to try after college.
